1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using HiStakes (“the Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

To use HiStakes, you must:

Be at least 18 years of age or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction
Be a resident of South Africa
Not be prohibited by law from participating in skill-based gaming competitions

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
All activities that occur under your account
Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Match Rules and Conduct

When participating in matches:

You must compete fairly and honestly
Cheating, hacking, or exploitation of game mechanics is strictly prohibited
You must provide accurate proof of match results when required
Harassment, abuse, or unsportsmanlike conduct may result in account suspension

5. Financial Terms

HiStakes charges a 10% service fee on match winnings. Stakes are held in escrow until match completion. Minimum withdrawal amount is R100. All transactions are processed securely through PayFast

6. Disputes

In the event of a dispute, both players must submit evidence. HiStakes reserves the right to make final decisions on disputed matches based on submitted evidence and platform data.

7. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

Match fixing or collusion
Creating multiple accounts
Using automated tools or bots
Attempting to manipulate ratings or rankings

8. Termination

HiStakes reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or disrupt the platform experience for others

9. Limitation of Liability

HiStakes is not responsible for losses resulting from technical issues, game server problems, or disputes between players. Our liability is limited to the amount of your account balance.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
